Default College campus connection

I am not sure if the port is blocked or not, but it seems that it is.

OS: win xp w/ sp2
firewall: zonealarm
linksys router

Every time I try to connect, I get an error stating that I don't have an active internet connection, or that my firewall is blocking limewire. Zonealarm asked whether i wanted to allow limeware to access that internet, and if i wanted to allow it to act as a server. I said yes to both. Not sure if the javaw.exe file had to be allowed also, i manually added it, since zonealarm did not ask me about it.
I've visited that web site to check if the default port was being blocked, however it is not. Although before visiting this site, I tried a different port (like 57690 or something) and I did not recieve the aforementioned error msg, and actually had a connection for about 2 minutes before it was lost. I don't know what to do.
