invalid files/ corrupted instillation
 

im not good with computers so i cant tell you my operating system or my version of gnutella. i do know i have dsl.

my problem is that about a week ago, i did an anti-spy scan and deleted everything, which deleted limewire. so i did a system restore and it was brought back, but with this problem:

"one or more of the necessary files appear to be invalid. this is generally caused by a corrupted instillation. please try downloading and installing limewire again. if the problem persists please copy and paste the message bleow and send it to: bugs@limewire.com thank you. "

my problem is that i paid for this service. and to download and reinstall, i have to pay again. is there any way to avoid paying again? also, i did send the error report, and have had no response.

I hope that was not Pestpatrol you used!!!? Pestpatrol does not work properly nowadays. Search the word pest on the forum & you'll get a better understanding.

But before you do that make sure your Java is up to date: Java 1.5 (take the JRE) :)
