Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() You could also try adding limewire or limewire/gnutella or Gnutella/LimeWire or javaw.exe Well you can disable the firewall whilst you use LW but that's not recommended. Or use DMZ which is more or less the same thing. Are you sure the problem is not hardware based? If you have a high speed modem/router then it no doubt will have an internal NAT firewall. UPnP will usually allow LW to communicate directly with the device to open a port for it. But if your device doesn't support UPnP then port forwarding is the next best step (better & safer than dmz); Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) |
