Question Only 5 connections in Pro 4.26

I just updated to PRO, and for the past week, I have only been able to maintain 5 connections.

1) How do I increase that # of connections?
2) What is the Max # you would recommend for a fast cable connection?

Thanks in advance.

B

You can't increase the number of connections. With 5 connections you should be able to search 3/4 of the network, what more do you need?

so is 5 the maximum # of connections that are allowed? Why does it limit me to only3/4 of the network?

Yes.

Because searching the whole network is not possible.

I have the same version and it always has exactly 3 connections at a time. Did you do anything to make it 5?

Im not complaining about having 3/4 of the network, im just curious, what makes it impossible, is 3/4 a statistical average of how many of the PCs are compatible with each other (ie firewalls etc.)?
