Limewire Just Dissappears after/upon connecting
 

Hi

I am running Windows XP SP 2 and have downloaded Limewire 4.2.6. I am able to open it and sometimes connect, at which point I have an excellent connection. I can even sometimes download a file or two.

But then Limewire invariably just disappears from sight with no warning message or anything and this happens every single time. It is very frustrating and I have tried everything I can to try to resolve the issue including tampering with my firewall but I do not think there can be a problem there given that I am able to connect, albeit for only a few seconds/minutes at a time, before Limewire just disappears.

Any advice much appreciated!

You mean the program interface disappears???

Just downloaded new version after recommended fixes did not work. things seem to be working ok now- Ta mate! :)
