connecting to network
 

I am running windows xp - have looked at the advice but can't get it to work... my isp is virgin and I was running limewire fine for a couple of weeks... I have now got itunes linked in but it didn't seem to affect it.. now I get this message that "limewire is currently connecting to the network, your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network" I seem to be connecting and sharing files but I am not getting any search returns
please help!

okay - I have looked at your reply... only thing is I am not that computer literate... so to search for a proxy serevr that is in use is pretty confusing! have searched, but not obvious where to get codes from.. any swift advice for a muppet!
