am connected but won't download!! I am in a uni halls of residence with broadband offered by BT. We have lan sockets in our rooms and so do not connect via a modem but through a lan connection. Unfortunatly it appears that the BT peep have put in place something to stop p2p programs from working, i suspect it might be a NAT router or something. Is there anyway of getting around this at all? I have made required changes to get round my sp2 and at home limewire works great, but in my halls it will connect without any problems but it stays at download rate 0KB/s please heeeelp!! |
Try Forcing IP with port 6346: Force IP instructions & sample image Disable Ultrapeer capabilities: Tools>Options>Speed & tick option & press Apply. Give LW some time to settle before doing anything. |
im afraid that hasn't done anything |
Try the new version 4.4 to be released Monday. It has better firewall support. |
