Dropping Hosts then disconnected

I can connect to Limewire and connect to a large number of hosts, but after a short time, the number of hosts diminishes and I am eventually disconnected. I have just installed the latest release on my W2K Pro. OS.

Please help!

The same thing happens to me with Limewire 1.7b on my mac. This seems to be a cross-platform problem.
Hundreds of hosts, thousends of files, then, all of a sudden, WHOOSH!!, everything disappears and I get the "disconnected" message, my internet connection still alive and kicking. This happens about every twenty minutes.
I just would love to see an explanation here.
