Default cannt connect anymore

hey folkes

never had any problems to connect in former days...then i didnt use the programm for about 6 months and now i cant connect anymore...

i use sygate firewall and kaspersky anti-virus but both are adjusted to allow limewire to connect to the internet...

what might be the problem?

i think ive got version 4.0.8

i am really not a pc crack...

but i am using windows xp

p4 3.0ghz
1028mb ram
readon 9800 pro

kaspersky antivirus

sygate firewall (which should allow limewire to connect)

Generally if things have been going fine & all of a sudden you have connection problems (ignoring line, set-up or device issues), then it's either your isp who've decided to block or filter you or it's time to change your preferences for a fresh set. To delete LW preferences folder, see instructions here: Fixes for Limewire (But only whilst LW is closed!)

Have you updated your video drivers lately. It seems ATI has put out some new drivers lately for there Radeon series video cards that have some issues.

Some members have rolled back there video drivers and resolved this problem.

I would try LotR suggestions first. Then I would check the video drivers, if his suggestions don't work (Which they usually do)
