can't get limewire to load at startup

the program is stuck in the screen start up/programs/limewire. it is a black screen with a few flashes of white running thru it. it is also making my printer load and feed paper constantly.
i am using windows 2000 professional. the version of limewire is 4.0.7.ink

See if Fixes for Limewire helps. I'd try deleting your LW Preferences folder 1st.

Thanks, I tried deleting the preferences but that didn't work. Was finally able to get up and running again by removing the program and reinstalling it.
