![]() Hi all. The poblem im having, and have had with all versions of limewire is that i'll start to download something and for reasons i will need to disconnect from limewire and turn off the pc. When i turn it back on and start limewire my download goes back to " 0 " .. which is annoying, i see this as a problem because 2 of my friends use limewire and they can do the same thing and their download resumes from where it was stopped ie if it was shut off at 28% it will start from 28% rather than back at zero. ANy ideas as to whats going wrong here? Os is Win xp home sp1 Limewire pro 4.2.6 If you need any other info feel free to ask ![]() |

![]() Use this: Fixes for Limewire And also see some hints: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities. eg: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...028#post116028 If still probs the answer this: an you give us a total desciption of your set up: 1. OS version? 2. What firewalls you have? 3. ram? 4. HDD space available? 5. Connection type? 6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? 7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)? For XP users see this: HERE (click on me) |
