Proxies not working

I have tried the method of deleting .limewire, using a proxy, checking forward IP. I have not been able to connect at all for the last few days (I believe my ISP started filtering my traffic).

First, do I need a socks proxy or can I get a connection using http proxy? Second, is there a way to get around the ISP filtering?

Call your ISP and ask them what is going on. If they block Gnet traffic/ports than there's no way of getting around that.
