option to connect on startup
 

Hey does anyone know how to stop LimeWire (the regular one, not PRO) from connecting on startup? When I go to the connections section on teh options window, I see "Connect on Startup" and nothing happens. So I don't know if I have it connecting on startup or not. And how can I keep it from overriding my msconfig command to NOT startup when the computer starts up?

In LimeWire 1) tools 2) option 3) advanced 4) system startup - run on system start up - uncheck this box

Click apply then ok otherwise the change won't take effect.

I tried but I do not see a check box, all I see is the passagge and the top about choosing to connect at startup, and then I seen "connect on startup:" and nothing else. No check box. Do I just click on that phrase?

Untick option & press Apply. Or if you want manual connection after opening LW then you'd go Tools>Options>Connections & untick startup option.

I see why I could not see the checkbox-- by default it was using the windows skin, and none of the checkboxes show up in windows skin.Thanks for your help though!
