Default Limewire was unable to set up a port to listen for incoming connections

I have a new PC on which I have never been able to connect to limewire.

I have disabled windows firewall and mcafee firewall.

Limewire error is:"Limewire was unable to set up a port to listen for incoming connections"

This is my limewire version:
Limewire 4.4.5
Java 1.4.2_03

This is my OS version:
Windows XP
Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158: Service Pack 2)

This is modem
DSL
Westell Model 2200

This is my PC
Dell Dimension Dim3000
Celeron CPU 2.40 GHz
256 MB


Can anyone help me connect?

Well it sounds like your modem may have a built in firewall.

Search (upper right) for port forwarding.

Browsing to my modem's admin page shows it is configured to allow all traffic.

Limewire used to work OK with this modem and my old PC.
