Connecting with LAN

I am not able to connect to the network on the LAN in my dorm room. Is there a way around this or is it simply blocked on the server with no way for me to connect?

Well you could contact your network administrator, and ask whoever to unblock the port or allow your comp. access to that port.

You might want to search (upper right) for - ISPs who block

Just in case you don't know. The port you should ask the administrator to open is port 6346.
