A College Mac User In Need
 

Well Im at college, the land of fast internet connection. And I can't get limewire to connect. It worked a week ago but when I came back from my weekend get-away I couldn 't get it to connect. I am running a Apple G4 733 so I can't download the version I heard about for windows with this problem. Please help! If it is because of a firewall (which I am not sure about) please tell me if I can fix it. Thanks alot!

I'm guessing the college admins blocked the Limewire port. Or you just need to reinstall! I think you can change the port setting, try that.

...with anything that has ti di wirh portslike in the conections box type in the auto connect stuff but bump the port number up one. [I think #3 might be the only one that excepts this because i just did that on my ibook using airport and it worked
