no screen comes up
 

Can anyone help? When I click on my lime wire icon to open it nothing appears. All I get is a tab on my tool bar that says Enabling Open Information Sharing. It says that I'm running the Gnutella Network but like I said no screen pops up. I tried turning off my firewall but that didn't work. I might be doing it wrong. Does anyone know what to do? I miss my Lime wire.

Delete your LW preferences folder as in here: Fixes for Limewire & open LW via Start menu. If that doesn't work, then go to programs folder & open the program directly. If that doesn't work then try re-installing both LW & Java again. But do a system maintenance & defrag your HDD & use a Registry cleaner: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...232#post121232
