 Limewire wont open, unexceptly closes I purchased Limewire Pro a couple of months ago and and all of a sudden I am having problems where I cannot even open the darn thing. I will double-click on the desktop icon and even start it from its main program file folder and when opening the splash screen will show for 2 - 3 seconds and then pop-up a window that says 'Limewire has encountered a problem and has unexpectedly closed...etc etc etc" Someone told me to download the free version but what about the money I paid for the Pro Version? Can someone please help? Thank you sooo much! Sorry, I am running Windows XP Pro with SP2  |

 If you purchases LW Pro a few months ago then you're still eligible for updates! See: HERE (click on link) Keep your personal Pro download page book-marked! Before installing the new version, if you have a registry cleaner then use it. Also delete your LW preferences folder; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire & update your Java. |
