Problems connecting
 

Hi there. I am a first time user of Limewire. I recently downloaded the Basic edition. Currently, when I try to click on the icon on my desktop, nothing happens. I am not able to get to the Limewire screen. What can be causing this?

I would appreciate any feedback. I apologize if this is a question that keeps being asked. Thank you.

Didn't know there was a 4.6.1, but any ways.

I suggest you install the most rent version http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

512 MB RAM for a PC?! Holy crap, I'll bet thats the reason I haven't been able to connect. I only have 256. :o

D00d, the min required RAM is 64.
256 shouldn't be a prob (of course, more is always better in the case of RAM)

I think you might be right. I conncected to kazaa, but no searches turned up results.

I think I was rigth when I originally thought my problems were because my campus pulled the plug. Said this on another thread.

Ask around mojo man. Maybe other students know what's the deal or are having probs connecting too (on a dare, you may even ask the IT dep directly)
