Default Problems with Internet Explorer

I just noticed that after running Limewire, even if I shut it down, some websites are not accessable with Internet Explorer, such as http://www.netflix.com. I'm running IE 6.0.2900.2180.XPSP_SP2 and the latest version of Limeware. The only way I can access the netflix website again is if I reboot my computer. Most websites are accessable with only a few not like the example above with Netflix.
Any suggestions?

Default What Java Runtime do you have?

I can open Netflix and every other website with no problem at all.

Maybe its an issue of your Java Virtual machine, did you download the latest java version available yet?

Installed the latest java and Internet Explorer will still not access Netflix.com's site unless I reboot. There is somekind of conflict going on, or a setting I need to change. I just can't figure it out.

Default Limewire kills internet connection

Yip - I have exactly the same problem. Once I open Limewire I can't access any Internet sites or check my email. I am using Firefox but tested with IE as well.

What's interesting though is that an internet radio stream I was listening to continued to play no problem.

I have a small home network set up with ICS using a ProLink Wireless G Router (Windows XP Pro).

Problem solved! If that doesen't help (It should! In more that one way too!) you should try completly uninstalling LimeWire and Java. Restart your computer and go to www.limewire.com (or your PRO page if you have LW PRO) and get the latest release of LW. Then head over to www.java.com and get the latest version of the Java Runtime Envrionment. Good luck.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same problem. All internet connections suddenly don't work anymore, after running Limewire for a few minutes.. Very odd. Indeed I think there is some kind of conflict. I'd very much like to know how to solve this..
