Limewire not loading
 

I am running Windows Xp SP1 and EZ Firewall and using Limewire PRO. My problem is that whenever I try to run Limewire it does one of two things it either will not run and disappears off the screen within seconds or when it does run it stays on for about ten minutes before going off.
I have read the forum advice and I have tried some of the fixes (those I understand at least) but up to now nothing has worked.
total desciption of set up:
1. Windows XP SP1
2. EZ Firewall
3. 512 mb ram
4. 37,1 gb hd available
5. Broadband
6.Sagem adsl 7. Home
8. Limewire 4.8.1 PRO Java 1.5.0-02
9. Had the problem since I upgraded from Basic to PRO

Incidentally when I have uninstalled PRO and reinstalled Basic the problem goes away.
