HELP! i've read the advice and still can't connect
 

I've read the advice about deleting the whole directory and restarting and it still doesn't connect. The 5 bars at the bottom of the limewire window all stay red except for the first one. It just stays at quality: connecting forever. I have Windows 2000 and DSL. HELP!

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. Who your isp provider is?
2. What firewalls you have?
3. ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.

I think I know the problem... I have Zone Alarm. But even when I said to allow LimeWire, shut down the firewall, and closed out of it LimeWire still won't work. MSN Messenger, ICQ, and AIM don't work on my computer for the same reason. I also have Norton AntiVirus but there aren't any firewalls on it. PLEASE HELP!

I use DSL, have LimeWire 4.8.1 and Java 1.5.0_02
