Unable to connect anymore....

I have been using 1.4b for many months - perfectly and happily. As of 2 days ago I cannot connect on launch nor connect. Shows "connecting" to router.limewire.com for 10 sec then blank then "connecting" to gnutellahosts.com for 10 sec then blank. I have cable and it has always been keep 4 connections up and changing it to 3 doesn't help. Has the @home cable provider started blocking ports? I certainly don't download enough to have reached any bandwidth limits.

thanks

I would hate to switch to another gnutella client and I don't particularly like Morpheous like my friends are using!

Resolved

My suddenly no longer able to connect with 1.4b problem may have occured around the time I upgraded I.E. 5.0 to 5.5, but I can't be sure.

I have now downloaded and installed the new 1.7 Beta which also necessitated a download of Java 1.3.1.

All is now working well again.

1.7 installed itself into a new folder under Program Files and the old folder with 1.4 still exists. I am not sure if these files are still needed, but since all is working well I will leave it for now.

I cannot seem to find the new Chat features of 1.7.

Have fun..

1.7 download works

I also downloaded a newer version of Internet Explorer from 5.0 and LimeWire stopped working, even when i uninstalled the newer version. I just downloaded the LimeWire 1.7beta and all is well, I advise anyone with similar problems to do so.
