![]() Hey all. I have a small network on which I have a number of Windows 2000 boxes. I had one with the limewire pro (latest version) which I had the port forwarding set up and was connecting as an ultrapeer. It worked great for some time. Since the last round of Windows Updates, I can't connect as an ultrapeer. To troubleshoot, I took a second machine on the network and mover the port forwarding to that IP. None of the updates had been done yet. I installed them one by one. After installing the new Windows Installer 3.1, that machine can't connect at ultrapeer. Of course uninstalling the Windows Installer update did nothing to fix the problem and reinstalling Windows Installer 2.x didn't fix it either. Anyone else experience this problem? Anyone come up with a fix? - Rick |
