![]() OK...I have tried everything that the forum has to offer as far as staying connected, and nothing has worked. Again, I'm not only loising my LimeWire connection, but it also killing my regular internet connection. The only way that I can get either of these two things to work, I have to reboot my computer. Is there not an upgrade or tweak or something else I can do? I have so far: 1.) Deleted my LimeWire Preferences and reset them. 2.) Changed my Upload/Download speeds accordingly 3.) Disabled the Ultrapeer 4.) Disabled the LimeWire Player 5.) I just upgraded my Norton Anti-Virus last night, and as per Norton's recommendation, I have tuned off my Windows Firewall and am using only the firewall supplied by Norton. 6.) I haven't touched the Force Search in the last two weeks. 7.) I'm not downloading a lot of files at one time. 3-5 max. 8.) I'm not doing a lot of searches at one time, 2-4 max. 9.) I have let LimeWire "settle down for 15-20mins before using. Ironically enough, sometimes my connection gets choked out before the 15-20 is up. 10.) I'm not sharing a lot of files. I don't know what other things I should do, so if you have anything else up your sleeve, please let me know. Thanks. |
