Thumbs up connection problems

I contacted my ISP (Plus-Net) via the net to cancel my account (ADSL 512k) at 18.99 mth & migrate to a new ISP. I then received a phone call asking me the reason, I said it had become impossible to connect via my p2p programs. I was told they were able to block p2p but they only used it on the cheaper monthly accounts, & if I upgraded to (1to2 Meg) at 21.99 mth then p2p would work ok. After agreeing to upgrade and as instructed after disconnecting and reconnecting at 6pm today I run limwire first and sure enough within 30 sec it was showing turbocharged, sorted. Although you could say I was held to ransom Im only on a monthly contract & can change ISP . So talk to your provider to see what can be done. Good luck. Hope this helps.
