cant connect to gnutella hey gnutella i have been using lime wire for quite some time and sharing a large number of files. i don t know but for some reason i am not able to connect through to ur netwok last few days and not only this i cant use ur other p2p softwares like shareza and morpheus. please check my status and do somethin bout hte prob. my friends tell me i mite have got banned from ur network by mistake if so plz solve the prob and allow me in as i am a gr8 fan of ur p2p service and wud like to ocntinue using it. |
You should understand there is no central server. The gnutella network is about individuals sharing. So perhaps a few individuals may have banned you from connecting to them but impossible for everybody to have. With millions of users ... I haven't banned you. I haven't banned anybody from connecting to me & not that many people do. * Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say ‘Your test worked!’. What happens when you go there? If you can't get that page then either your isp provider has decided to block a range of ports to stop p2p use or its a setting issue or a hardware issue or a firewall issue.
