same old song and dance

im a brand new user to limewire and p2p and having problems connecting. i am connected with qwest dsl internet connection with msn access. i called qwest and they assured me they didn't block p2p or gnutella networks. i have followed almost every thread in this forum. anyone want to take a stab at my problem?

i have a new dell cpu. plenty of harddrive, RAM etc. I am connected with a actiontec GT701-wg DSL modem w/ wireless gateway. I am using windows firewall and Norton System Works for virus protection. When i open LW it works great and says its connecting giving me a green light at the bottom of the bar graph, after a couple minutes it comes up with an error window. It says its unable to connect to hosts on Gnutella network. ive tried to setup my ports for 6346 named Gnutella but it still doesn't help.

anyone?
