![]() Hello, I have used limewire for a few years now, but I'm experiencing problems ever since I upgraded to version 4.8.1. Heres the problem: I open limewire, it loads, and opens the application window. It keeps loading at the the bottom of the application screen and tells me what it is loading as it connects. Well, whenever it gets to the part where it loads "Connection Management", it freezes, every time. I have the latest Java and have also try reinstalling it as well as limewire. I have tried deleting my limewire prefrences, and have opened the appropriate ports on my firewall. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. |

![]() On some people's systems the latest Java doesn't always work that well - despite its improvements. You can try to uninstall the Java using the Add/Remove control panel. Then install Java 1.4.x, see a link from here: Fixes for Limewire |
