Limewire not opening

Limewire has never opened for me. I have uninstalled it and insattled it, everytime I click on the icon nothing happens??

1st go to the program folder & try opening the program directly. The problem might be with your shortcuts. If not work then try uninstalling & reinstalling Java. Downld Java & save to your comp, do not install over the net. See link for java from this one: Fixes for Limewire
