i just instaklled the 4.8 and keep geting the message coonecting with network . how long do i have yo wait before i can start downloading ?

Usually it connects in seconds. What kind of firewall do you have and where do you connect? (institutions are blocking P2P, firewalls block incoming connections, you might have to the firewall software to allow full access to the internet for LW).
