 windows 2000 connection problems Hello to everybody. In the support area it's well expleined how to solve connections problems for winXP. Any valid support also for windows 2000. I use a PC with such OS within a company where I can access internet only trough a proxy server. (but I don't know the IP address of this proxy and so I cannot configure a program such as HTTPTunnel which could solve this problem) Many thanks to everybody who can give to me any support  |

| For your firewall (I presume you have one), configure it to allow LW full access: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml I don't know a lot about proxies but can point you to some hints about setting them up: 1. A Fix for those whose ISP's block Limewire pages 1 & 2 which has a link to alternative instructions. 2. Another Insight proxy solution, 3. http proxies, 4. A Successful http Proxy Solution |
