Always "Leaf node shielded"

Why is that??
It doesn't matter if I connect through the router or not - I am always a "Leaf"

You can't be UP if you are firewalled or your average uptime is too low.

Being a 2.8.6 UP would be lame though...

I could have 30 connections if I was an ultrapeer?
My router, does that qualify as a firewall?
It never let me become an ultrapeer before I had the router, either..

I've had several computers and several cable modems over the years and never been an ultrapeer

I even had DSL for a year and still never was an ultrapeer

Router = firewall. I'm an UP right now.

Good for you there.
What is the reason for limiting me to 5 connections?

Read my post on the other thread. All is logical. Beside being UP doesn't mean more results and definitly does not mean more dl speed. It just helps the network, something you definitly seems against
