Default Limewire kills my Internet Explorer

i am on a cable connect running XP SP2 AMD 64 processor
Since i installed limewire pro, I cannot us emy internet explorer if i run limewire. It fails to connect, says page not found, etc
I have to reboot my pc in order to use IE after i have run or am running Limewire
help
I love limewire but its driving me nuts

Try reducing both your upld & downld speeds slightly within LW. Go to Tools>Options>Uplds/Downlds
Also don't use the Resume button on all incomplete files. This can have side-fx such as affect LW's connection quality. May queue your files for much much longer. This will also stress LW, your connection & your comp. If you use Resume/Find sources then just apply it to a couple or so at one time.

that still isn't helping me
i have used winmx with no such problems. i like the way limewire functions better, but this reboot in order to use ie again is killing me

try uninstalling and reinstalling IE 6.. thru

you have a bug in your current IE 6..,,

reinstall / or repair / or complete new install of IE 6 will fix
