Frustrated!!!
 

I was actually gonna buy the pro version because I was really impressed with the basic version but nothing I do makes even the basic version work! If I upgrade, will it fix the problem? (see my last thread for problem details). I'm hoping someone from limewire reads this because I would really like to know. But if it won't fix the problem, there is no point in upgrading.

No or possibly not. Your problem is probably to do with either LW preferences or a broken Java installation.

re-installed java to no avail... Limewire worked first tim but never again. Preferences, you say..? How do I change those bearing in mind limewire won't load upo and I have tried re-installing, switching off firewall, etc etc.
