v1.6 with XP professional

ever since installing XP professional, limewire connects at first but completely disconnects about 5-10 minutes into the session. i can't even get through 1 download sometimes. then if i shut down limewire and restart it, it will not connect at all. i never had this problem before. is it because of XP? will version 1.7 fix this problem?

I don't believe it is XP. Something to do with LimeWire all together.
