hi first i want to thank you for the reply it was very helpfull and all things point to the virus described in the post. i have one question though, it says in the post that the first thing to do is un install limewire, this scares me as i have over 300 files that i have downloaded through limewire and through past experiances if i un install my download client eg. warez/kazaa ect. i lose all the downloads too and since like i said i have over 300 downloads including important programs, movies and songs i do not want to lose them, can you please advice me as to wether or not i will lose it all or if i have to put everything on to disk's which will take alot of disk's and time.

i look forward to your reply

I don't know about Warez or Kazaa, but for LW, when you uninstall it only removes what was installed; ie: the contents of the program folder & any system files installed at that time. I'm sure your downld folder & incomplete folder are not within that folder. To find out where they are go to Tools>Options>Saving or go to Library window & select Saved Files & press explore button.
