Gnutella Forums - Limewire Shutdown (I think...)

It was wierd... Monday last week I started up Limewire on my laptop at my grandparents' house. It ran great!!! But the day following I tried and it goes to the load screen like normal but usually a little bar shows up going back and forth, showing that it's loading. Well, it doesn't do that anymore... Now it goes to the screen for a few seconds and the computer acts as if it's going to load the program but then it just closes, with no error message or anything. It's not in my tool tray or even taking up any memory. Totally closed.

Let me explain my situation: I was in Colombia for a good year before this. Limewire worked relatively fine until the low-pinged transfer rates started. I just came back to the States recently. Monday was my first time I was able to get onto the internet and I started up Limewire. It ran so well with the connection that I was able to get many files that I wanted!! But like I said before that, it just shuts down now...

I've turned off my firewall settings and uninstalled and re-installed the program but to no avail. I tried Kazaa and that works fine. All my other P2P Network dependant programs run fine with no problem. I'd love it if there were any suggestions or help advice. I looked over the most recent issues and found nothing that helped to fix my problem.
