Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network. (not about connecting to files, that is a Download/Upload Problems section issue.) Please supply system details as described in the forum rules.

Can't Open

Hi.

I've been using LimeWire (Basic) for a few months now, and evertying has worked fine, until last night it just all of a sudden broke.

Now, when I click the icon to load up LW, it starts but the only thing that appears is the message asking to upgrade to pro. The LW logo is in the bottom right of my screen and when I right click and press 'Restore' the bar comes up at the bottom, but I'm unable to bring it up.

Also, I had a download going when it broke, and I think it is still downloading it.

Any ideas? I have reinstalled already. I'm afraid to uninstall and then reinstall completely, but if that's what I have to do, I'll do it.
