Default Please help me! I can't get on LimeWire!

Ok. My computer is an old cimputer but it can still run lime wire. But, a couple of days ago it satrted saying stuff like a port could not be set up to listen for incoming .......... Anyways, when i tried to download stuff, it would never worked. So today i re-downloaded limewire and installed it. Now it wont even run because it says "Limewire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking limewires access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. Please allow Limewire to access the internet and restart." I did everything LimeWire support told me to do and it still wontwork. On Windows Firewall, I made an exception for LimeWire. Windows firewall Is the only firewall i have. I have a virus protection program given to me by my isp (Charter Communications) but I dont think that wouold stop connection. Please help me.

Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. Do you share a connection such as on a network or share a router?
2. Do you attempt to use other p2p programs simultaneously?
4. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
5. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
6. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
7. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire
