LW starts up too much
 

ok people i have the exact opposite problem of most people i have perfect (in fact too good) of a connection every time i start up my pc lw slows every thing down by automatically starting up then when i close it it comes back up EVERY TIME! and im getting tired of it! i have the free version and have tried every thing short of delieteing it

Click start, and then select the option "run". When the text box appears, type "msconfig" , and it will bring up the configuration utility. Click "startup" , and then find limewire in the list of choices and uncheck it. Afterwards, Limewire won't turn on automatically every time you start up the computer.

Just make sure this isn't your problem also: LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup & also see WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!
