Question What else can I do now?

Grandpa, selecting "none" in the screensaver is actually how you turn it off, on XP SP2 anyway. Selecting "Blank" I think is what you meant.

I've tried that and a few other things. Here's the updated attempts - I could really use some help here since nothing is working.

Ok. I've tried using system restore to before the problem started. No Change.

I've tried restoring back to before I put Lime in and then reinstalled it - No Change.

I tried backing up everything I wanted to keep, formatting the hard drive and loading everything all over again - after the essentials (office, etc.) I only loaded Lime. Still No Change.

I tried using the "Blank" screensaver, as suggested by Grandpa. No Change.

It seems that no matter what I try, if I need to walk away from the machine or even just stop pressing keys and stuff for several mins, I lose all my Lime connections/hosts. And as mentioned before, I even tried leaving another internet program running just to confirm the internet connection wasn't lost - and it wasn't - even the internet connection timer was uninterrupted. The other program continued just fine, but Lime stopped connecting.

Is there maybe some new setting I don't see that disconnects you from the hosts if you're idle for several mins?

Sigh.

I know I had this same problem about a year ago when first using Lime and it was resolved, but I can't recall the solution.

I even set Norton Security to allow all connections from Lime. Still, No Change. And the Windows firewall is setup exactly as directed, making those allowances for Gnutella - I double checked. And again, I can connect and download, but just can't let the computer idle for a few mins - not even talking about hours, just several mins.

Can anyone please help??
Please?

Thank you very much.
