Everyone try this
 
I am on a PC running ME. Couldn't get the program to connect for the life of me. I was also running Zone Alarm firewall. I shut that off and it still didn't work. Then I tried changing my port to 6347and it still didn't work. I left all those settings, and typed the router.limewire.com:6346 in manually in the top area in the connects area, were it says Add, Remove then a space to enter stuff and then the 6346 number to the right of it, hit connect and presto! We are up and running. Try it, you may like it.

You sound like an advanced user! My trouble is this: when I click the icon on the desktop, it takes me to Control Panel. I can't find that issue anywhere in the postings. Any thoughts?

OK, SO I'M NOT SO COMPUTER SMART.......WHERE DO YOU GO TO CHANGE THE PORT?
