connected once but not since I just installed LimeWire 1.7 on a Mac G3 running system 8.6. I read in the FAQs that my browser has to be connected (i.e. LimeWire won't establish a connection). So I start my browser (Netscape 4.75) first then load LimeWire. The first time I tried it worked fine. After that, no connection. Tried reinstalling the software but still no go. What's the deal. Does this really work? Seems like there are a lot of postings about lack of connection. Should I try Mactella or is it just as bad. It was fun while it lasted (which wasn't too long!). |
