Default everything OK BUT My problem's got you all beat..

Mine is a situation I have never seen on the boards here:

MY XP PC with limewire 4.8.1 installed downloads the tunes selected OK,, and I am sharing over 700 files with limewire.., BUT I can't see what it is they may be uploading., I can see my down loads but no uploads. How do I know? number of factors:
1. when my one 'DOWNLOAD" is finished, I see the connectivity light on my modem is still solid green up and down lit on my terayon modem ( cable).., plus i have no more downloads to complete but why is my PC modem still working away??

2. I always had files being uploaded as my files are the most popular 50 / 60'sa and 70's tunes, people always upload these popular tunes , yet my list of tunes in the monitor tab is empty. why?

I think it has something to do with my settings BUT I cannot find where ..

Default

There are a variety of factors to consider here.

1. Your firewall. Are you using a router?? Have you configured it for the Gnutella network and have you password protected it?? On your XP setup you didn't enable file and printer sharing capablities did you?? Check your Windows firewall for access. Did you grant both TCP and UDP setting for LimeWire. Do you have any other firewall?? Check to see what other networks may be using your computer.

2. What other programs are you using that might be accessing the internet....antivirus, windows update, any other software updates.

3. shutdown internet access when you are finished and see what popup.
