Disable any other firewalls you have. Then see *Configuring Norton Internet Security
BTW I will move this to connection problems section. You posted in a non-limewire section of the forums.

Werdo

Are you sure your Norton Anti-Virus did this or was it your Norton Personal Firewall?

Werdo, I am going to assume you are confused, mistaken and probably meant that your Norton Personal Firewall is causing the problem.

All you have to do is go to the "Rules" section of your NPF (if you don't know where this is check your user manual or download the manual from Symantec's website), and delete the "rule" that NPF has automatically created, under your son's instructions, to permanently block LW.

Once you have done this and rebooted your PC, NPF will once again prompt you to give LW automatic or no access to the internet, give LW automatic access.

Hope this helps

UK Bob

PS. There really is no substitute for reading the manual.
