Fixed my problem, port assignments
 

I posted a thread about connecting and fixed my problem so, I thought I'd post a new thread with the information.
I downloaded WinMX and it took off right away. I was curious why WinMX worked and LW would not. It came to me that the port assignments must be the problem. It was, I finished with WinMX and loaded up LW and changed the port and IT WORKED RIGHT AWAY!
The old port was 6346, the new one is 6699.
I don't use windows firewall, I use Norton and the Limewire program WAS set to permit all.
There must be a way to use 6346 but I don't know how or why if 6699 works?:D
