Default Firefox and Limewire

Prior to starting Limewire, I load Firefox browser using Switchproxy (switching set for every 30 seconds). I then start Limewire in its default mode (ex., I do not set up a proxy within Limewire). Does this setup provide me with the same degree of anonymous surfing in Limewire as setting up a proxy within the advance setting on Limewire?
