how do i connect thru AOL?
 

my isp is AOL. i can't get limewire 1.7 to connect thru AOL. how do i configure the program to connect?

Hi! Yeah, I connect via AOL as well. Just launch AOL (sign on) and then open LimeWire. There should be no problem as what the LimeWire client is doing is accessing the server through your open internet connection (AOL). To quit, then exit LimeWire and then sign off your AOL account. Oh. Hmmm.... Make sure there are no parental blocks on your account in terms of web use. See if you can use other non-AOL programs with your AOL isp on. If so then the problem probably lies with the LimeWire code.
