What is up?? Every time I try to search for an artist it tells me Limewire is still connecting to the network.......aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. HELP PLEASE

Do you go into LimeWire and immediately start downloading songs? Because I have had that happen to me before and all I did was wait a few minutes until I saw all of the bars in the bottom-left corner turn green. Once the bars were green I was then able to download songs.

The EXACT same thing is happening to me!! - if you found out the solution please let me know...
only one of the bars goes green and I have been waiting WAY more than 5 mintues... I left it half an hour and there's still only one green bar...

Can either of you tell me how long you've had LimeWire and if you live in a rural area or not? Because as you know, LimeWire is connected to the Internet and sometimes from what I've heard from others, people who live in the middle of nowhere(out in the country) tend to have a little more trouble getting a good connection to the Internet.

If you can give me a little more info then I may be able to offer better help.

I don't live in the country... at all.
What's even more wierd about why it's not working is that my sister - living in the same house - had no problems with limewire and it worked fine first go!
What happens is, at the bottom of the screen only one bar goes green. and it says that it's still connecting - even after half an hour...
